Blink 182's new, self-titled album came out November 18th, 2003. Go get it (if you haven't already)!! I heard some rumours that they had broken up -- obviously not true. They took a brief break, due to the new babies.

If you, my dear readers, don't already know, the band consists of three crazy and beautiful people: Tom Delonge (guitar/vocals), Mark Hoppus (bassist/vocals), and Travis Barker (drums).

Blink 182 originally came together in 1990 as Mark Hoppus, Tom Delonge, and Scott Raynor. Travis joined the band in 1998 for part of the Dude Ranch tour and to record Enema of the State, after the old drummer, Scott Raynor, left the band to pursue college. After leaving the-almost-as-silly band, The Aquabats, Travis has been the trust-worthy drummer ever since.

Travis owns a clothing store called Famous Stars and Straps (link above). They specialize in belts and buckles, as well as other clothing items. Mark and Tom own an online clothing store called Loserkids (link above). They sells all kinds of cool Blink 182 and skater merchandise.

You people probably already know this, but the band was in the movie American Pie. The credit people flubbed and had Travis credited as Scott Raynor. Also, Tom and Mark were in the movie Shake, Rattle, and Roll, a made for TV movie about the time when black people were being persecuted and Elvis was the "man" (I just saw it not to long ago, for the first time. It's pretty good). They have a song on the soundtrack called "Dead Man's Curve." Travis played the drums for and was in P.Diddy's (or, whatever he goes by these days) "Bad Boy For Life" video. Also, after touring is up, Travis is going to be with Box Car Racer and a whole other new band called The Transplants (I have more on my Box Car Racer page; link above).
